Dave Ruddy was born in New Jersey and raised in Connecticut. Schooled in horticulture and fine arts at the University of Connecticut, he has worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker for the past 25 years. He currently runs the family business, Driftwood Kitchens, designing and building fine custom cabinets, furniture as well as broadcast studio sets and trade show booths.
His artwork, primarily sculpture based, consists of Iron and copper casting, steel, ceramics and wood. Dave has been pouring metal with Matt Reiley since 1998.
Dave resides in Windsor, CT with his family.
